ANDREW BARCLAY LOCOMOTIVE ALBERT
New firebox and vast boiler overhaul completed in 2007 by us now a regular performer at its home base on the plym valley railway devon
This locomotive was also based at East kent railway with Albert seen below
Peckett William Murdoch
william murdoch was overhauled by us in 2007 after more than 10 years as a static display at southall
and is now in full working order, however the locomotive is not currently fitted with vaccum brakes so has restricted use this may
change in the near future to enable it to be hired to other preserved lines
Barclay GWR 701
This locomotive was restored by us from a very poor state in 2004 and was one of the biggest transformations we have undertaken so far with nearly all parts being overhauled repaired or replaced but it has proved to be a regular performer on many heritage lines, this locomtoive was known as "spitfire" and was based on the East kent railway but was little used and was transformed by us at the owners request into a mock up barclay aquired by the GWR to perform shunting duties at dock yards of south wales
